Positive: The cottage is immaculately fitted out with a well equipped kitchen and a very pleasant seating area in the back. Gill was really welcoming and helpful. She was on hand to assist with any issues if needed although we had no problems. Despite being pretty close to the M5, the cottage is in a picturesque location overlooking Brent Knoll and feels very rural. East Brent itself is a very cute little village accessed just down the lane (although the village itself is short on amenities but there are major supermarkets a few minutes’ drive away). Situated about half way between cheddar gorge and Burnham on Sea it’s well situated for family seaside holidays or enjoying the hills.
